Skincare Regimen:Â In the month leading up to your treatment, we will place you on a simple, yet effective professional routine to ensure you have the adequate actives that will not only prevent poor healing, but will ensure the most optimal results.
The week of: Leading up to your BioRePeel treatment, it's recommended to follow a gentle skincare regimen. Avoid harsh exfoliants, retinoids, and other potentially irritating products that could sensitise the skin.
Sun Protection:Â Prioritize sun protection in the weeks leading up to your BioRePeel service, as well as after during the healing phase. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher daily to shield your skin from harmful UV rays.
Avoid Sun Exposure:Â Although the BioRePeel is not a photosensitive peel, meaning you do not have to hide from the sun for a week- it is important to always use discernment when taking care of your skin. Minimize excessive sun exposure, particularly in the days immediately preceding your BioRePeel treatment. Sunburned or overly sun-exposed skin can increase the risk of adverse reactions during the procedure.

HOW OFTEN CAN I HAVE BIOREPEEL PERFORMED?
Biorepeel treatments can be administered every 7-10 days. Unlike most chemical peels, Biorepeel is not photosensitive and can be performed year-round. However, it's crucial to use sunscreen recommended by your healthcare provider throughout the treatment process to protect the skin.
WILL MY SKIN PURGE DURING BIOREPEEL TREATMENT?
While acne breakouts or exacerbation are rare with BioRepeel when proper instructions are followed, some individuals may experience temporary purging or exfoliation of the skin during treatment. Purging occurs when impurities, such as clogged pores or congestion, are brought to the skin's surface due to exfoliation.
During Biorepeel treatment, the active ingredients work to exfoliate the skin's outer layers, promoting cell turnover and renewal. This process may lead to the purging of existing impurities, such as trapped sebum and dead skin cells, from the pores.
