Believe it or not, I actually found about Bren & theBar through a girl who I met on a dating app lol. Isn't that something. - On a more serious note, I had actually tried out a different skin care/facial place early on in the year. Unfortunately it turned out to be an unpleasant experience, making me not want to go back to them at all. After my initial facial with TheBar I was wondering why I hadn't come sooner. Everything from the check-in, the sanitation procedures (which is imperative these days), the accommodations, the actual facial, & overall experience; completely exceeded my expectations. Bren was phenomenal. She took her time in making sure she respectfully met my needs & politely asked me all of the right probing questions in order to fully start understanding my skin. She explicitly informed me that since this was my first facial with her, it would take a couple sessions in order for her to fully familiarize herself with my skin. That was extremely professional on her part. Im excited to continue my skin journey with theBar. - Overall, it was a top-tier-skin care/facial-experience & I'd easily recommend Bren and theBar to anyone I know. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Brenda for half a year now and my skin thanks me for it! I have pretty good skin with not many issues but I can still see a huge difference from just coming here! Not only does my skin come out looking fresh but I also come out feeling so relaxed! Because of quarantine I haven’t been in a while but my friends and I did the Zen Faced and omg was it amazing!! From home she was able to make my skin glow and relax me while me and my friends still shared some good laughs! Can’t wait for me to be able to visit again ❤️

I FIRST MET BRENDA WHEN I was one of the first groups to enjoy her Zen Faced Facial massage class! I learned how to properly wash & Massage my face. Brenda created a Zen environment for all of us to enjoy. my face left the class Glowing. I then decided to book a zOOM Face Appointment with Brenda and I am super excited to embark on my anti-Aging journey with Brenda. Next time i'm in nyc, I will be paying her a visit for a much needed facial. I appreciate that Brenda builds community through skincare!

A few months ago i scheduled an appointment with brenda. The booking information and pre-appt information is super transparent and self-explanatory. Brenda was very warm and welcoming when i arrived at the apt but not super chatty, which I consider a good thing (lol). The spa room is super clean, the music playlist was a total vibe and i loved how great all the products smelled. Also, nothing felt rushed about my appointment at all. i highly recommend the bar and will definitely book an appointment soon!

If I could give Bren & The bar 10 stars I would! Bren has helped me understand my skin so much better! Facials are my favorite part of my Saturday adventures. Bren is definitely my skin guru. Those jelly masks are perfection.
